STME Jeddah Team Receives Praise from SEDCO on Speedy Problem Solving
SEDCO, a leading Jeddah based Shariah-compliant private wealth management organization and a long term STME client has sent their thanks and praised STME’s Senior Support Engineer Russell Nunag for his speedy and successful rescue efforts with missing database on Oracle system.
SEDCO is one of STME’s biggest customers in Jeddah. They have been STME’s customer since the StorageTek days and are considered as a partner to STME rather than treating STME as merely a vendor. SEDCO manages a wide and diversified spectrum of real estate investments, as well as investments in equities and other businesses in Saudi Arabia and around the world. SEDCO is based in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and has more than 1,500 employees.
SEDCO contacted STME when their Oracle financial database went down due to a missing NetApp volume. The volume was too full, so Mr. Nunag freed up space and changed the volume status online. According to Mr. Nunag: “This is just a normal PD/PSI (Problem Determination/Problem Source Identification) procedure. But what they really appreciated was that I was at the site within 30 minutes of their call and managed to get their system up in just 10 minutes.”
STME prides itself with the speedy and professional after sales service and support they offer and this is a prime example of that.
Acting VP of Information Technology at SEDCO, Ronnie Reyes stated: “SEDCO IT would like to thank STME particularly Mr. Russell Nunag for the excellent support and dedication in recovering our Solaris server using BMR. All the services in our server are now restored and fully operational. STME is an integral partner of SEDCO and we look forward to your continuous quality service.”
