Overview
HDS TruCopy provides synchronous remote replication for Hitachi VSP arrays, ensuring that every write is committed to both the primary and secondary site before the application receives acknowledgement. This guarantees RPO=0 — no data loss in the event of a primary site failure.
STME deploys TruCopy for tier-one applications in GCC banking and capital markets environments where regulatory requirements mandate zero data loss. TruCopy is typically combined with Universal Replicator in a 3-site configuration: TruCopy for synchronous local replication and UR for asynchronous long-distance DR.
